About the project
In this project my team and I developed a 3D obstacle course game. This was my first game project at The Game Assembly and it was made in Unity and C#. In the project I learned my way around Unity in a more thurough way since I had already worked with Unity before. This taught me a lot about the speciall traits, features and limitations of the engine. One of the two big things i worked the most with was player movement and speciffically getting the player’s jump to feel intuitive and responsive. The other was Unity’s particle system and the game’s various pöarticle effects being played when picking up health or landing on the water.
